seek and find
strap on your worst boots — the excavation desired to find our homemade heart center is quite muddy. let the shovel break ground and appreciate the time it takes to really dig deep. hold off on planting seeds until you’ve really put your ear to the soil: what does it whisper? if it’s uncomfortable, it’s working. the hero’s journey to the core of our entire being has just begun. look at the map you’ve been given; rewrite the course a time or two.
PROMPT: when digging deeper into your psyche, how do you view your memories? are they scattering ants or held in pickled containers? what’s one thing you would change about that?

I would say mine are very scattered. Sometimes that’s due to the time of my life being traumatic. Like I don’t remember all details because it’s my brain trying to shield it from itself. And honestly I kinda thank my brain for that. It’s what I need sometimes because I’m such an over thinker!
